    Training required prior to Graduation:

Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum Training (KS:CPC): We encourage our Master of Teaching (1st year 2017),  3rd & 4th (if not done 2016) year B.Teaching students to attend. Ideally 3rd year students should complete this training so they don't need to find time in the intensive final year of courses.

2017 Dates Schedule: provided via MyUni

    Literacy and Numeracy Test (LANTITE):

All of the M Teach students and this year’s first year students (2017) will be required to meet the standards of the Literacy and Numeracy Test before they are able to graduate.

For currently enrolled students, the only opportunity to sit the test is while they are still enrolled with us – once graduated they are no longer eligible to sit the LANTITE.  This is of particular relevance to second, third and fourth year Bachelor of Teaching and Graduate Diploma of Teaching students as it is being reported that a number of employers are asking for copies of the test results as a part of the employment process.
